Our 100% recycled fabric is made using post-consumer plastic bottles. The fabric is called recycled polyester (rPET).
Recycled polyester (rPET) has the same soft, absorbant, quick-dry properties as the non-reycled version. By using a recycled fabric we help reduce the number of plastic bottles ending up in our oceans.
Producing our 100% recycled rPET fabric uses 90% less water & 75% less energy then the virgin alternative.

Our fabric is soft, absorbent, quick drying while also being kind to the planet.

Our fabric is manufactured in China's Jiangsu province, just north of Shanghai. They are the leading producer of our unique, waffle-weave, recycled material.
They are a participant of SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) & Oeko-tex.
This ensures they manufacture ethically, sustainably and monitor the full supply chain.
We also audit and regularly visit our suppliers to oversee the production process (when there's no global pandemic and we are able to travel, of course!)
Our quick-dry towels and change ponchos are also woven with antimicrobial which means less washing for all of us!
When you do need to wash, we recommend washing with cold water, on a gentle cycle and line drying in the shade.
Avoid using bleach or other harsh chemicals, it's better for the towels, the planet and you!

Shipping policy
We send all our orders with Australia Post. We offer FREE AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING on all orders over $120. For all orders under $120 we offer Australian flat rate shipping of $12.

We currently ship to Australia & New Zealand.
We launched only a few short months ago, we'd love to ship globally and we're working on it!
If you're overseas and would like to make an order, please get in touch and we can arrange a custom order.
We aim to ship all orders within 2 business days from when we receive your order. This can be delayed during busy sales periods, but we do everything to avoid that!
The Ocean Armour team live and work in Far North Queensland, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef - shipping from a rurual area shouldn't cause a delay to orders, but there may be the occasion where our rural location incurs 1 - 2 extra days in transit.
Australian East Coast orders usually arrive within 3 - 5 business days once dispatched. Orders travelling to Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory can take between 7 - 10 business days to arrive.
Once your order has been fulfilled, you'll receive a conrimation email with a tracking number.
Unfortunately we don't offer international shipping at this time - we launched only a few short months ago and sending overseas is something we're working on!

Yes, if you need to swap an item for a different size, contact us to arrange.
Please conatct us about any exchange within 5 days of receiving the items.
We are confident you'll love your Ocean Armour purchase, or your money back!
If you receive your order and are not 100% happy with it for any reason, we will be happy to take it back in its original form within 30 days of purchase, and we'll arrange a full refund for you.
Contact us to arrange any return & we will supply a fully paid return postage label for you.
If you need to return or exchange your items, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a pre-paid return postage label for you!
All our orders are shipped in re-useable packaging - if you need to return your item you can pop it back in the satchel, add the pre-paid label and send it back to us.
We pride ourselves on ensuring our towels and change ponchos are made with quality, and designed to last.
However, there may be issues from time to time. In the unlikely event of a fault or issue, please contact us or email hello@oceanarmour.com.au within 3 months of the purchase date. We'll arrange an exchange or refund.
